Warren Whipple

Warren Whipple is the Principal, Software Engineer of AI Systems at EdReports, where he builds AI-accelerated tools that keep education experts at the center of instructional materials reviews. Warren began his career working in bioethics at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. After over ten years in philosophy and medical ethics, Warren pivoted to software, teaching himself web application development. He then spent six years as a software engineer at LabVoice, building tools for scientists to configure hands-free voice assistants for long-running laboratory procedures. Warren earned his B.A. in philosophy and B.S. in biology from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He lives in North Carolina and spends his free time traveling for rock climbing, from local crags to long multi-pitch routes.
