Jessika Morgan is the Communications and Outreach Specialist at EdReports. She supports communications, partner outreach, and field engagement with a primary focus on EdReports’ work to strengthen early learning supports for multilingual learners in instructional materials. Jessika joined EdReports from corporate marketing and advertising at The Home Depot, where she wrote product and brand copy and developed messaging and audience strategy at scale. She began her career in print journalism in North Carolina, serving as a sports editor covering prep, college, and professional athletics after an early role as an education reporter for daily newspapers. Jessika later transitioned into nonprofit communications at Carolina Tiger Rescue, where she led storytelling and outreach efforts to engage and educate supporters. Across roles, she has built a career translating complex ideas into clear content that connects. Jessika was born and raised in California, and she graduated from Georgia State University a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and English with a Journalism speciality. She currently lives in Atlanta with her family. Outside of work, she continues editorial writing and editing for her own website and competes as an active member of Atlanta Roller Derby. When she’s not spending time chasing adventure with her two daughters, you can likely find her somewhere roller skating around the city.
