EdReports provides a Science of Reading Snapshot for each of our K–5 English language arts (ELA) reports. The scores shown in each Snapshot are aggregated from different indicators across EdReports’ ELA review tools. The total points available for each science of reading component depend on 1) the format of the materials and 2) the version of our review tools used for the review. The tables in the scoring guide show the indicators that comprise the scores for each combination of materials format and review tool version.
