The ReadyGen instructional materials for Kindergarten and Grades 1-2 meet expectations for alignment. The materials include texts that are worthy of students' time and attention and provide many opportunities for rich and rigorous evidence-based discussions and writing about texts to build strong literacy skills. Students have opportunities to build skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening, and they integrate language work throughout.
