The Developing Core Literacy Proficiency Instructional Materials for Grades 6 through 8 provide standards-aligned materials for students to grow literacy skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening, and language. The program is organized to build knowledge with high quality, rigorous texts. Writing instruction is comprehensive over the school year and includes appropriate standards-aligned activities and lessons, as well as research practice. The materials provide support for teachers to implement the program with routines and protocols to build student independence.

The Developing Core Literacy Proficiency Instructional Materials for Grades 9 through 12 provide standards-aligned materials for students to develop their reading, writing, speaking and listening, and language skills over the course of each school year as well as year to year.
