Q: How do I qualify for an EdReports Verification?
A: You will qualify when your core comprehensive or foundational skills supplemental materials have been reviewed by EdReports and it has been published on our website.
Q: When can I expect to receive my EdReports Verification?
A: At the conclusion of your review process, after errors and omissions.
Q: Does my EdReports Verification expire?
A: Your EdReports Verification is valid so long as the content reviewed in your materials has not changed in ways that would make a material difference in scoring.
Q: Will previously reviewed materials qualify for an EdReports Verification?
A: Yes. All product reviews published by EdReports qualify for a Verification. Beginning in 2023, all qualifying products will automatically receive an EdReports Verification as part of the review process.
Q: May I continue using previously designed versions of “badges” that reference our EdReports reviews on promotional materials?
A: No. As of July 10, 2023, the use of non-EdReports approved “badges” will be considered a violation of this Use Policy. Please review our Brand Guidelines and Use Policy for more information.
Q: May I design my own version of an EdReports Verification or “badge” to represent the quality or outcome of the review?
A: No. EdReports expressly prohibits the creation of “badges” to reference or represent an EdReports review. EdReports intentionally designed an official “Verification” so that all qualifying publishers will have equal access to use of EdReports’ brand. We discourage any effort to go around this intent through the creation of a separate “badge” or Verification. To that end, you must obtain written approval to use EdReports’ trademark and/or logo. These are EDREPORTS and . All uses must be reviewed and approved prior to publishing.
Q: Can the EdReports Verification be modified to add more specificity about the review itself or designed to be distinguishable from other EdReports Verifications?
A: No. The EdReports Verification may not be altered or modified in any way.
Q: Can I apply an EdReports Verification from an earlier copyright on an updated version of the product?
A: No. If the content in your materials has changed in ways that would make a material difference in scoring, it must undergo a new or targeted review to qualify for an EdReports Verification.

Q: Do materials under review or in queue for a review qualify for an EdReports Verification?
A: No.
Q: Can we promote specific components or aspects of a review that performed better than others? i.e. specific grades in a grade span or certain criteria in EdReports’ review tool
A: This would be considered an excerpt. Excerpts from our reviews must link to the complete review immediately following the excerpt. Excerpts include, but are not limited to, use of the EdReports Verification, promotional language of a single gateway, criterion, or indicator scores. It is critical that our content not be presented in any way so as to alter EdReports’ meaning, implication or intent, or to otherwise render such content misleading or deceptive.
